DCS are the initials of founder Denys C. Shortt OBE, a former England international hockey player, who is passionate about growing businesses and in just 21 years has led the growth of DCS to become the UK market leader in sales and distribution of health, beauty and household brands with £186m sales and 350 employees.

DCS is the Official UK Sales and Distribution company for P&G, Gillette, Unilever, Colgate, SC Johnson, L'Oreal and more. DCS offers a range of added value services in brand repacking, design, merchandising, category management and even a discount store concept called Poundzone.

In 2009 Denys saw the demise of British Manufacturing and decided to invest £4 million into a new health and beauty factory in Stratford-upon-Avon making shampoo, hand wash and other liquid fill toiletries. We now manufacture for Aldi, Lidl, Wilko, Poundland, Godrej, BIG W Australia, Enliven, Wingman and more. 

DCS owns the Enliven health & beauty brand which is sold in 75 countries worldwide.

Denys Shortt OBE has developed three stand-alone software companies Enable International Ltd and Deal-track Ltd and most recently a new company called Enable ID

Denys was awarded an OBE by Her Majesty the Queen for Services to the Economy.  

Pro-bono roles : Denys was former Chair of the Coventry and Warwickshire LEP, he is a Board member at Warwick Business School and Chairman of the Agri-Tech Advisory Board at the Royal Agricultural University. Denys recently started Supporting Stratford - an initative that invests £100,000 per year back into the local community. He is Chair of the new £24m Stratford Cancer and Eye Hospital Appeal and is busy raising £1m for the Appeal.
